Snetterton Rounds Sept 2015

Snetterton Rounds Sept 20th Trouble getting the car set up for Qualifying did not help our grid position for race 1, Qualified in 5th place, hats off to Lee Hollin though – who has been trying to get to grips with his Mk3 and qualified in 6th. . Race1:  All the racing was on the Sunday, Dry Bright and sunny it was going to be tricky based on our qualifying position, we had a great battle with Ian Loversidge, always hoping for someone to make a mistake, it did not happen, racing is very strong and competitive in Max5, we came home with a 5th, but our set up was feeling good for Race 2 Race 2: Got off to a great start, but Mike Comber back the field up in to turn one allowing Simon Fleet to take the lead, this only lasted a lap or so, he made a mistake allowing Jon Halliwell and I through, with Comber in the non championship car ahead in the lead, the race was on, we managed to hold on to third and ended the weekend with a decent result Next race – Pembrey 10th & 11th October
